Biosafety training

In order to comply with the requirements of the regulation in place, Biosafety training is available for Université Laval members :

– Employees;
– Students (trainees, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows);
– Any person in the above categories who is part of research teams located in affiliated research centers.

This training is intended for anyone affiliated with Université Laval who participates in a course or a project requiring material involving a biological risk, such as recombinant DNAs, microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites, etc.) or their toxins, the use of materials containing or likely to contain these microorganisms (e.g. cell cultures, tissues, diagnostic specimens, blood and its components) and for which it has been demonstrated or there are reasons to believe that they cause disease in humans or animals or may harm the environment.

Renewal of training: every 5 years.

At any time, a member of the university community who wishes to update his knowledge can take the training.

Upon submission of the registration form, further instructions on how to access the training will reach you within 24-48 business hours.
